Privacy policy

Feast Mode is built to work without an account. Your profile (goal, weight if you enter it, protein target, diet), saved recipes, imported recipes, meal plans and grocery lists are stored only on your iPhone. We do not run servers that receive this data, and we do not use advertising SDKs or tracking of any kind.

Network requests the app makes

Recipe import: when you import a link, your iPhone downloads that page (and its photo) directly from the website you pasted, or TikTok's public oEmbed service for TikTok links. We never see the link.
Where to shop: if you tap "Find stores near me", your iPhone asks Apple Maps for supermarkets near your current location. Feast Mode doesn't store or send your location anywhere else.
Nonna (AI): when you ask Nonna a question, import with AI or rebuild a recipe, the text or photo you provide is sent to our server and processed by Anthropic's Claude model to write the answer. We don't store it, and it isn't linked to you; Anthropic doesn't use it to train models and may keep it briefly for safety monitoring under its commercial terms. Your subscription is verified with Apple's signed receipt; no account or name is involved. Nonna is only used when you ask, after you agree in the app.
Purchases: subscriptions are handled by Apple through the App Store. We receive no payment details. RevenueCat, our subscription analytics provider, receives the App Store transaction record and a random app user ID so we can see renewals and trial conversions; it receives no name, email or payment details.
Waitlist and recipe email (optional): if you join the waitlist or give us your email address in the app or on this website, we store your email address, the fact that you ticked the consent box, which form you used (for example "waitlist") and the time you signed up. We use it only to email you when Feast Mode launches on the App Store and to send occasional recipes and Feast Mode news. It is stored privately with our hosting provider, Vercel. We never sell or share it, and we don't use it for advertising. Unsubscribe anytime by replying to any of our emails (or writing to studiogrep@gmail.com) and we'll stop. Ask us and we'll delete it.
Photos: photos you take of your dishes stay on your iPhone. A photo only leaves your device if you send it to Nonna's AI import.

Notifications

If you turn on the dinner reminder or start a cooking timer, notifications are scheduled locally on your device.

Deleting your data

Settings → Delete all my data erases everything Feast Mode stored on your iPhone. Deleting the app does the same. To delete your email from the waitlist or the recipe list, reply to any of our emails or write to studiogrep@gmail.com.

Children

Feast Mode is not directed at children under 13.
